The arts and science and technology are often separated into distinct spaces in today’s schools. Makerspaces, on the other hand, are learning environments that bring all of these together along with a spirit of creativity and design. Learn about how one school created such an environment in their library and gain strategies for bringing the Maker Movement into your classroom. We’ll include lots of practical tips and hands-on making to help educators get a sense of how this would fit in with their curriculum. Workshop created for the Ringling Museum of Art.
