  3. 3. REVERSING your insulin resistance:● Along with healthy eating, using your MUSCLES every day.● The more “FIT” your bodys muscles, the easier it is for circulating insulin to get into cells,● And the less insulin your pancreas has to push out.●
  4. 4. What happens when we use our muscles? LUNGS: Oxygen in ● HEART: Pumps oxygen in blood ● ● MUSCLES: ●Use oxygen as fuel to burn fat & carbohydrate!
  5. 5. As our muscles get better & (more fit) at using O2,the more fuel we can burn....the more fit we are& the longer we can exercise.
  6. 6. Why using our muscles EVERY day makes a happy pancreas!● Decreases insulin resistance.● (genetics, diet, physical activity)●This means, your bodys OWN insulin that itmakes, is able to get into your cells & work!●
  7. 7. METFORMIN (Glucophage)● For “Pre-Diabetes” as well as Diabetes.● Fasting blood sugar: under 110● 2 hour after meal : under 140
