  2. 2. The first human flight<br />On December 17, 1903 Orbur and Wilbur, fondly known as the Wright brothers created history by making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight.<br />
  3. 3. The first moon landing<br />On 20th July, 1969 three men Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin steered their space vehicle Apollo 11 to successfully land on the moon.<br />
  4. 4. longest suspension bridge<br />The Akashi-Kaikyōbridge, Japan has the longest central span of any suspension bridge. At 1,991 meters (6,532 ft) it took two million workers and 10 years to complete.<br />

  7. 7. The tallest beauty<br />French structural engineer Michel Virlogeux and British architect Norman Foster teamed up to make the most beautiful, MillauViaduct bridge. It is 1125 feet tall and spans the valley of the river Tarn near Millau in southern France.<br />

  11. 11. A software empire<br />Two childhood friends Paul Allen and Bill Gates set out to make a basic interpreter for a device. On April 4th, 1975 they started Microsoft. Since then the company has 89,000 employees and makes over 62 billion in yearly revenue .<br />
