This is my first greetingto you as the new President. As I step into this new role, I come with feelings of gratitude, excitement and hope forthe DCF, the professional coaching industry, and you.First, I am very grateful to be part of such an honorable and worthwhile industry andprofessional organization. We became coaches to change lives, and coaching changeslives in ways that few other professions can do. As someone who gets to live all dayevery day in the world of coaching, I am honored to call you my friends and colleagues.I am also grateful for all of the Board members and volunteers who have served theDCF this past year. Not only are they highly dedicated to the cause of professionalcoaching and the mission of the DCF, but they are amazingly competent and tons of fun!As you know, this is a 100% volunteer organization, and without those who committheir time and energy each month, we couldn’t have the incredible organization that wedo.Thank you to our Board members, volunteers and committed members. This is truly agroup effort, as none of us would exist without the other.Next, I am filled with tremendous excitement. A new year with new board members andvolunteers brings new energy and new ideas. We are excited to continue to support you

How can I get lots of followers and convert theminto paying customers? What should I do first? How can I do it all in less than 30minutes a day? During this session you’ll get answers to all of those questions (andmore). Most social media trainings are too basic (or, they give you too much information…usually taught by trainers who spend every minute on social media and think you cantoo). They tell you what to do, but not how to do it. They’re taught by people who don’thave more than a few thousand (or hundred!) followers themselves… without much (orany) experience helping real-life business owners (like you) achieve real-world results. This training is different. You’re going to discover the only proven, repeatable process in the world that’s actuallyguaranteed to get you tens of thousands of followers, and actually convert them intopaying customers. Plus you’re going to get a step-by-step, paint-by-numbers process (soyou can get the greatest results with the least amount of effort). The Learning Objectives include:
  3. 3. Some of the most common mistakes being made by coaches on social media. The simple 4-step process you must follow to make money using social media. Proven methods to go from 0 to thousands of followers on FB and/or Twitter, and increase your income in less than a year. How other coaches have been using the same strategies to get similar results.About Ingrid ElfverIngrid Elfver, the coach’s coach, is CEO and founder of the Secret Society for Coaches.Referred to as "the sugar that makes the social media medicine go down" Ingrid refersto herself as a "reluctant social media expert." She went from 0-70,000 followers in 9months and doubled her income, using a 4-step process she was forced to create herselfafter failing to find anything similar online. Now Ingrid is helping coaching clientsachieve similar results using her Social Media Conversion System, and she’s beenspeaking at events around the country on the topic.Social media is just one of the strategies that Ingrid uses to help heart-centered coaches(and other experts), create a 6-7 figure business and make a difference doing what theylove. Over the last 20 years, Ingrid has coached thousands of people around the world(from celebrities to startups). Her Celebrity Blueprint Process™ helps coaches make theleap from “ordinary” to “celebrity”. In other words: create “signature” high-end productsand services based on their unique passions, talents, expertise, and life experience sothey can be more selective about who they work with, make more money, and havemore time off.Although she’s originally from Sweden, Ingrid has lived in Malibu, Beverly Hills, andHollywood Hills, CA (her first neighbors were Burt Reynolds and Rod Stewart). Ingridhas learned a lot of her “success secrets” from celebrities that you’d quickly recognize(they’ve been her neighbors, her clients, and her friends). Ingrid also knows what it’slike to be in the spotlight herself. Ingrid now has almost 100,000 followers on socialmedia. She’s been a professional model; served as Scout, Coach, Master of Ceremonies, and Judge for Miss Europe; and been interviewed as a mindset expert for a feature filmdocumentary.PLEASE NOTE: Everyone must register for the monthly meeting including DCFmembers.*Offering 1.5 CCEUs in the area of Business DevelopmentCLICK HERE TO REGISTER for the May 12, 2011 DCF Meeting.Special Interest Groups (SIGs)EXPLORING COACHING AS A PROFESSION SIGMay 12, 20116:00PM - 7:00PMFacilitated By: Judy Sabah, MCC, PMCOur discussion may include, and is not limited to: understanding how coaching differs from related professions learning what makes an exceptional coach
