UPOV:The International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV) is anintergovernmental organization with headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland).UPOV was established by the International Convention for the Protection of NewVarieties of Plants. The Convention was adopted in Paris in 1961 and it was revisedin 1972, 1978 and 1991.
