On May 6 and 7, 2014, Deloitte’s U.S. Technology and Telecommunications practices, in collaboration with the MIT Media Lab, hosted an executive workshop to explore the potential of the Internet of Things (IoT). Over the course of two days, a select group of business executives and thought leaders explored strategies focused on unlocking the value within the IoT ecosystem. Specifically, the group held in-depth discussions on three primary topics: finding the value in IoT, solving the partnership model in the IoT ecosystem, and designing for security and privacy concerns.
