  3. 3.  BHEL is a leading Navratna Company in India. It have 15 manufacturing divisions More than 42600 employees are performing their work. Two repair units, four regional offices eight service centres and15 regional centres and currently operate at more than 150 project sites across India and abroad.
  4. 4.  Itis called second-generation plant of BHEL Set up in 1974 at an estimated cost of `16.22 crores inclusive of `2.1 crores for township. Its foundation was laid by late Mrs. Indira Gandhi the prime minister on 9th Jan. 1974. The commercial production of the unit began in 1976-77 with an output of `53 lacs since then there has been no looking back for BHEL Jhansi.
