8. Having a social media strategy is the single
most important component to your
successful use of Facebook.
9. Having a strategy is important, and will aid
you by giving you:
Direction
Consistency
Goals
Metrics
10. There are many variations of content you can have,
so its important to establish the layout you want.
Some examples are:
Picture posts
You Tube Videos/ Embedded Videos
Fill In the blank
Product or Service related posts
Questions
Custom Graphics
Inspirational Posts
Humorous posts and so much more….
11. Your Facebook posting frequency is the
number of times you post and the time
between each posts.
12. Setting up your goals for your Facebook
business page will help you to measure
where you are and where you want to go.
You are 5-10 times more likely to achieve
them, than if you didn’t write them down.
13. Facebook Friend Inviting is just like
it sounds! It’s taking your existing
friends and inviting them to “Like”
your Facebook Business page.
16. Bonus Tip: If you already have an email list, you can export your
list to a .csv file and import your contacts into Facebook. This is
a great way to get connected with your existing customers.
17. Facebook will then give
you instructions based
on your email provider
so that you can import
the file. Here’s an
example of a gmail
import:
18. The next thing you want to do, after you have
invited your friends through the Facebook page
and email, is to get 3 - 4 friends to do the same
thing you just did on behalf of your page. I urge
you to use a script to either message them on
Facebook or give them a call.
19. Facebook Graphics are simply graphics that you
design tailored for Facebook’s dimensions.
20. A great resource to use is Canva.com there are
also many others like PicMonkey.com, Pixlr, and
many more.
22. What is Facebook Fanpage Friday?
Put simply, it’s a way for people to share a link to
their business page (or another page that they
recommend) with many people who may be
interested in “liking” their page. It also helps people
find other businesses they might want to follow.
23.
24. What is a Facebook Grab?
It’s just like a website that offers you an ebook,
white paper, video, or any type of incentive, in order
to obtain your email. A Facebook grab is the same
thing. It is built into the Facebook system.
26. What is a Facebook Grab?
The goal with a Facebook grab is more than getting
“likes.” The valuable metric of a Facebook page, for
a business owner, is the amount of people they can
drive to their site.
31. This is a great example of a well designed landing
page using Heyo.com Live Video Tutorial
32. This is a great example of a well designed landing page
from GroSocial.
33. Choosing what you are going to offer is the next step
once you’ve decided what software you are going to
use for your Facebook grab. A few options are:
• Ebook
• Video Lesson
• White Paper
34. Now that you have your grab chosen, lets set it up in
ThunderPenny! Watch the tutorial closely so that you
have everything set up correctly.
35. Facebook Groups makes it easy to connect with specific
sets of people, like family, teammates, or coworkers.
Groups can be private or public spaces, depending on your
needs. You can share updates, photos, documents, and
message other group members.
36. First, you will want to join a few groups related to your
interests. You can do this by typing it in the search bar. See
example:
38. Once you have setup your group, you will want
to establish the ground rules for your group,
invite friends and people you know that would
be interested, and welcome people to add the
people they know.
39. Consistency is what turns people from being
interested to being part of a movement.
40. It’s better to be consistently good than to be
inconsistently great! [Remember this]
41. What is Buffer? Buffer is a social media
dashboard that prides itself in making it very
simple to schedule content.
42. Buffer is very simple to use, and you can connect multiple
networks to decide which posts will go where.
43. Buffer’s Queue is where you place the content you intend
to post, you can also add pictures by using the picture
icon.
44. Buffers Suggestions is a function in which Buffer recommends
content that you can post on your network. It relates to your
interests.
45. Buffer’s Scheduling allows you to choose what days and what
times your posts will appear on your networks.
46. We are going to go over one of the coolest
tools for social media!
47. Setting up your hootsuite for success is what
we are going to focus on. I don’t advise using
Hootsuite for Facebook, however, it is a great
way to keep track of your page.
48. Scheduling your content through Hootsuite is
a really intuitive process, and will be most
beneficial for your other social networks.
49. Hootsuite streams are a breath of fresh air to
those with multiple social networks. It enables
you to see what’s going on and respond all in
one place!

58. Facebook will then give you instructions based
on your email provider so that you can import
the file. Here’s an example of a gmail import:
60. Now that you know the
valuable information about
emails, you should now see how
important it is to have your
Facebook icon, and other social
media icons, in your email
signature! To do this, you can
insert it manually and leave
links to your email, or you can
set one up just like I have using
WiseStamp
61. WiseStamp is a great tool to
help you market your social
media icons in your email
signature:
62. Take a look at my email signature for
example. All of the icons, and even the
logo, are hyperlinked.
