  4. 4. UNDERSTANDING OUR DATA WHAT: START WITH A DATABASE OF 100+ MILLION MOST POPULAR KEYWORDS. DATA FOR 25 GEOGRAPHIC REGIONS OF GOOGLE AND US BING. HOW: FREQUENTLY QUERYING EACH KEYWORD IN OUR DATABASE. ANALYZING TOP 20 ORGANIC AND TOP PAID SEARCH ADS. MUST RANK FOR THESE KEYWORDS + WITHIN TOP RESULTS

WE MAKE VERY EDUCATED ESTIMATIONS WITH PROPRIETARY FORMULAS. TRAFFIC - SERP RANKING & KEYWORD SEARCH VOLUME. ADS BUDGET - RANKING, VOLUME & AVERAGE CPC. BE PREPARED

  10. 10. SEMRUSH HAS A MASSIVE KEYWORD DATABASE. BUT, IT’S NOT POSSIBLE TO CARRY EVERY KEYWORD KNOWN TO MAN. TYPICALLY HAPPENS WITH ADWORDS THAT CONTAIN GEO- MODIFIERS FOR NONMETROPOLITAN AREAS. DON’T WORRY! YOU CAN STILL RESEARCH A SIMILAR COMPETITOR EVEN IF THEY’RE NOT IN LOCAL PROXIMITY. THE REASONS WHY

  12. 12. POSITION TRACKING IS BASED ON KEYWORDS YOU DEFINE. ANALYSIS GOES 10 RESULTS PAGES DEEP AS OPPOSED TO TOP 20 POSITIONS. YOU CAN TRACK POSITIONS RELATIVE TO ALMOST EVERY LOCALIZED REGION ON GOOGLE SEARCH. WHAT TO DO? USE POSITION TRACKING!
