After feeding the 5000 the disciples still didn’t understand who Jesus was. So he sends them across the sea by themselves. But because of the winds, they cannot make it. Jesus, walking on the water, joins them and they arrive safely. This miracle reminds us to be astonished by Jesus, to know salvation is only in him and that we can arrive home only with him.
