Those who are
courageous will
 choose to do
what is morally
    upright.
Mordecai’s courage:

“Be subject for the Lord's
   sake to every human
        institution”

Mordecai’s courage:


Refused to bow to Haman.
“in whose eyes a vile
 person is despised, but
who honors those who fear
       the Lord”
                —Psalm 15.4
Those who are
courageous will
   know the
  opportune
   moment.
Esther’s courage:
Esther’s courage:


   False sense of security.
“Blessed is the man who
makes the Lord his trust,
who does not turn to the
 proud, to those who go
   astray after a lie!”...
Mordecai’s courage:


            A sure hope.
Esther’s courage:


      Such a time as this.
Esther’s courage:


        Fast on my behalf.
“I urge that supplications,
  prayers, intercessions, and
thanksgivings be made for all
            people”
              ...
“for kings and all who are in
        high positions”
              —1 Timothy 2.1-2
“that we may lead a peaceful
   and quiet life, godly and
   dignified in every way.”
