Elegans are microscopic organisms that feed off of a bacteria. Too much of a good thing can affect it negatively, negative effects can also be caused by too little of this substance. Due to the hue of the worms flesh we can see directly how the substance affects it. Normally iron stimulates growth in organisms like C. Elegans.  P.S. THERE ARE THINGS LIKE MICROSCOPIC BUBBLES
  3. 3. Purpose To see how different concentrations of iron affects the growth and reproduction of the C. Elegans. To see what affected the growth of the C. Elegans, the temperature or the different concentrations of iron.
  4. 4. Hypothesis/Problem  Increasing the concentration of iron will have a beneficial effect on the C. Elegans and the effect will cause them to grow and reproduce.  How does increasing the concentration of iron affect the growth on the C. Elegans?

  6. 6. Procedure  Gather all materials. Four test tubes contain peptone while the other four didn’t contain any peptone, but all contained worms and their designated iron concentrations or lack there of.
