•Georgia was one of the first states to raise to
$5MM. Only recently has federal crowdfunding
been raised to this limit.
2- The paperwork to register is 3
pages.
•That's right! If you go under the GA Secretary
of State website, you can download the 3
page form, email it in and be registered to
raise in days.
3- There are some caveats.
•This exemption is only for GA based
businesses and you can only raise from
Georgia RESIDENTS, which has a legal
meaning. There are some other requirements
that must be met as well as well as limitations
on how much you can raise from certain

IGE or the Invest Georgia Exemption is Georgia’s intrastate
crowdfunding exemption. It’s intrastate (meaning “within the state”)
and therefore exempted from federal registration. The antifraud
provisions of federal law still apply.
