Steps for submitting an asset for reuse

STEP 1: In the Engagement Asset Hub, Click on Submit an Asset for Reuseand then Click on Go to iRAM The Engagement Asset Hub Community can be Found on the ISSR Main Community in case you forget where it is. Step by Step InstructionsTo Participate in the ISSR AssetReuse Program, you must be amember of the EngagementAsset Hub Community
  3. 3. STEP 2: Click on Submit and start filling in the form with the name of yourasset Name your asset something descriptive
  4. 4. STEP 3: Select ISSR Assets as the Community and an appropriate Type We will be adding new types based on your feedback Pop-Up Descriptions for Each Type Available.Select the ISSRAssets Community Select one of the available types of asset. At the current time, these are the types of assets that we track as part of the ISSR Reuse Program.
  5. 5. STEP 4: Add a short description, Answer the mandatory questions and addan estimate of the Hours to CreateUse the Show more button to see additional field. Add additional details as needed. Mandatory Questions to Answer Provide best estimate on Hours to Create. THIS IS A MANDATORY FIELD Click on Show more to access additional Fields.
  6. 6. STEP 5: Add the asset. There are 3 Options Details for each alternative are shown on the next slides. Don’t forget Steps 6 and 7.3 Options for Adding the Asset 1. Adding an asset that will be stored in iRAM. These are typically assets that are design and built for reuse such as a services offering or a cleaned deliverable (no customer information) 2. Adding an asset not stored in iRAM. These are typically assets with customer information or assets that are stored in other places like developerworks or YouTube. The iRAM asset in this case is the URL and/or guidance on how to find the asset. 3. Adding an asset that is a work-in-progress. The iRAM asset in this case is a pointer to a person or group of people who are working on the asset.
  7. 7. STEP 5 – Option 1 : Add one or more files that will be stored on iRAM You can also use the description to add a more detailed description
  8. 8. STEP 5 - Option 2: Add an asset not stored in iRAMIn the Description Tab, Add a short statement with a url to your asset.In this case, there is no need to add anything to the Content tab.
  9. 9. STEP 5 - Option 3: Add an asset that is a work-in-progressIn the Description Tab, Add a short statement with information about the asset andhow to contact the person or team working on the asset.
  10. 10. STEP 6: Select the appropriate ISSR Subject Area and ISSR Verification andeither select Approve As-Is or Save as DraftYou can chose one or more of the subject areas. There is also an Other option. For most assets,the ISSR Verification will be As-Is.If you chose Verified, you’ll see a Save as Draft button instead of an Approve As-Is This button will be a Save as Draft is you chose the Verified ISSR Verification Option
  11. 11. STEP 7: Verify that you’ve got a green check mark on the policiesIf you’ve missed something, edit your asset as needed Congratulations … You’ve Successfully submitted your asset to iRAM!!!!
