  2. 2. OBJECTIVE The main objective is Implementing the IEEE 802.11s mesh networking model in the open-source Network Simulator 3 environment.
  3. 3.  A mesh network is a network topology in which each node relays data for the network. All mesh nodes cooperate in the distribution of data in the network. Mesh networks can relay messages using either a flooding technique or a routing technique. MESH NETWORK
  5. 5.  Wireless mesh networking is a relatively new technology originating out of ad-hoc networking research of the last decade.  Wireless mesh network do not require centralized access points to mediate the wireless connection.  Wireless mesh networks extend the connectivity area of mobile devices beyond the limited range of a single access point WIRELESS MESH NETWORK

NS-2 NS-3  NS-2 is implemented by using C++ and Otcl.  It does support mesh network.  Slow with NS-2.  Complex with NS-2.  NS-3 is implemented by using C++ only because Otcl has overhead with large simulations.  It supports mesh network.  Efficient with NS-3.  Simple with NS-3. WHY NS-3 ?
