The main objective is Implementing the IEEE 802.11s
mesh networking model in the open-source
Network Simulator 3 environment.
A mesh network is a network topology in which each
node relays data for the network. All mesh nodes
cooperate in the distribution of data in the network.
Mesh networks can relay messages using either a
flooding technique or a routing technique.
Wireless mesh networking is a relatively new
technology originating out of ad-hoc networking
research of the last decade.
Wireless mesh network do not require centralized
access points to mediate the wireless connection.
Wireless mesh networks extend the connectivity area
of mobile devices beyond the limited range of a single
WIRELESS MESH NETWORK
NS-2 is implemented based on only HWMP protocol.
MP,MAP,STA are used to design and implement
HWMP in NS-2.

Slow with NS-2.

overhead with large simulations.
