  4. 4. Pancreas<br />Organ that makes hormones to regulate the blood glucose level<br />Makes enzymes to break down food in the intestines<br />
  5. 5. The Large Intestine<br />Long tubular organ<br />Consists three parts – the cecum, colon, and the rectum<br />
  6. 6. Gallbladder<br />Small, pouch like organ<br />Stores bile<br />Releases the bile in the duodenum<br />Helps digest food<br />
  7. 7. Anus<br />Exit of the digestive tract<br />Letting human waste leave the body<br />
  8. 8. Rectum<br />Last 7 inches of the large intestine<br />Waiting for human waste to leave body<br />
  9. 9. Small Intestine<br />Organ that’s longer than the Large intestine<br />Forms a continuous tube with the Large intestine<br />
