  1. 1. 1 Clean DC Output The IOTA DLS Series provides exceptionally clean DC output to connected equipment. For power conversion applications, this means no worries of excessive voltages on sensitive DC equipment. While some equipment can handle these types of fluctuations, over-voltage can often cause sensitive systems to shutdown suddenly. Use the clean DC output of the DLS to keep fans, motors, and other loads running smoothly and as expected.
  2. 2. 2 Compact Size The IOTA DLS uses modern surface-mount PCB design which allows for a substantially reduced mounting footprint. The compact size is perfect for the tight and limited compartment spaces common in recreational vehicles and other applications. More space means easier install, better airflow, and convenient access to connection terminals.
  3. 3. 3Lower Operating Temperature The DLS is designed to operate with minimal heat output. Thermal imaging is used in our engineering labs to ensure product is operating at allowable temperatures. Manually inserting the provided plug into the Dual Voltage Jack increases the output voltage to a higher ‘absorption’ charge for faster battery charging. The Dual Voltage Jack also allows for easy installation of the optional IQ4 Smart Charge Controller.
  5. 5. 5Smart-Charging With the IQ4 IOTA’s IQ4 Smart Charge Controller automatically turns your DLS unit into a four-stage smart charger by simply plugging it into the Dual Voltage Jack of the DLS. Smart-charging decreases battery times, ensures a complete charge, and promotes longer battery life by avoiding the problems caused by boiling, sulfation, and stratification of the battery.   6. 6. 6Series / Parallel Capability You can use the Series / Parallel Capability to bring confident battery charging performance to a wide array of battery bank applications. Connecting two or more DLS units in series multiplies the output voltage of the DLS, while connecting two or more DLS units in parallel multiplies the amperage output. The ability to operate in conjunction with additional units without conflict makes the DLS a versatile solution for larger systems.
  7. 7. 7 Quiet Operation The DLS features Proportional Fan Control that minimizes operational noise by limiting the fan speed in direct proportion to the unit temperature. When the unit is at a low operating temperature, the fan is either off or turns slowly. Fan speed will increase as temperature increases. This feature eliminates sudden starting noise of the fan. At nominal speed, the fan is rated at a “whisper-quiet” 34.4 dB, which makes it perfect for unobtrusive and virtually silent operation in RVs and motorhomes.
