  4. 4. Cross cultural coaching the benefitsJust some of our feedback• I learned not to assume that British and American cultures are the same• The session exceeded our expectations and was enjoyable for us both• Definitely helpful in understanding what to expect in the coming weeks• The trainer provided great business perspective• Was very useful in explaining some behaviours of people in the office that I had not previously understood• Would recommend to colleagues as it makes you think about things you may not otherwise consider• Would recommend, great that it was personalised to what we needed• Good overview and good paceWhat OSB offersA full range of briefings and programmes to meet the needs of your clients. From a 30 minute telephone coaching sessionto a full day programme our range of coaching can be tailored for each assignment. Why companies should offer the trainingCulture shock can cause physical symptoms such as sleep problems, minor illnesses, loss of appetite. It causes people tofeel irritable, homesick and withdrawn which means they are not performing as well as they could. When candidates have had the opportunity to take cultural coaching they feel better equipped, less apprehensive andmore preparedOur trainers• Use a detailed questionnaire so they can tailor the programme to suit the candidates• Have personal experience of living in another country• Minimum 2 years experience of delivering similar programmes• Interviewed and assessed [ mostly recommended]Contact debbie.donnelly@osbconsultingandtraining.com for more details
