In 2006, Chinese and German governments signed the Framework Agreement for Promoting Pharmaceutical Economy and Biotechnological
Cooperation under the Framework of Chinese-German Forum of Economy and Technology. In 2012, Zhang Ping, the then-director of China’s
Development and Reform Commission, and Philipp Rösler, the then-minister of German Economic Ministry signed the Memorandum of
Understanding on Further Cooperation in Pharmaceutical Economy and Biotechnological Field under the Framework of Chinese-German Forum of
Economy and Technology. “Chinese-German International Hospital Clusters”Project is promoted by both Chinese and German governments.
“Chinese-German International Hospital Clusters”Project is mainly consisted of the following aspects:
A. "1 + N" Hospital Section
German international hospital cluster will build a general hospital as
the center, the surrounding construction Maternity Hospital, Children's
Hospital, cardiovascular hospitals, orthopedic hospitals, cancer
hospitals, cosmetic surgery hospital ("1 + N Mode": specific the type
and number of specialist hospitals will be determined according to
local conditions and requirements) as one of the hospital clusters.

Nürnberg, aiming at establishing a modern, high-level and research-oriented university that achieves international top-ranking level and is featured with cultural diversity. The mode of
Chinese-German cooperation in running school renders Chinese students the access to the superior educational resources of Germany’s distinguished universities without having to go
abroad, and the cost is much lower than studying in Germany.
Openness: The credits earned in the Chinese branch can be transferred to and
acknowledged by FAU’s German campus. And every students enrolled will spend
one to three semesters studying in the headquarter of FAU or other universities
that closely collaborate with FAU as exchange students.
Research and Teaching: The instructors will spend half their time in teaching and
half in conducting researches. The faculty-student ratio shall be higher than that of
