LEADER STUDENT IN A STUDY AT THE BEVERAGE ENTERPRISE “AGUA IDEAL” (2013)
· Supervisor: Dr. Rodrigo Ferreira, professor at UFPE while an instructor of Work Theory class;
· Objective: To analyze a beverage organization production system, observing its automation level, salary incentives,
work impact on performance objectives, and structure, and implement improvements with technical knowledge;
· Tools used: Organizational chart, flow chart (on the whole process and the chosen task as well) and man-machine
diagram;
· Results: Bottleneck found,work security issues resolved, salary incentives – which didn’t exist – implemented,change
of lot size, increasing productivity.
LEADER STUDENT IN A STUDY ON A CONSTRUCTION (2014)
· Supervisor: Dr. Marcio Chagas Moura, professor at UFPE while an instructor of Methods Engineering class;
· Objective: To analyze a building construction phase,regarding to its layout, time and motion, in order to implement
improvements with technical knowledge;
· Tools used: Layout and flow diagram, process flowchart, man-machine diagram and SIMO diagram;
· Results: The greatest source of loss, which was related to transportation issues, minimized and ergonomic issues fixed.
LEADER STUDENT IN A STUDY AT THE UFPE RESTAURANT “RESTAURANTE UNIVERSITARIO” (2014)
· Supervisor: Dr. Denise Dumke de Medeiros, professor at UFPE while an instructor of Quality Management class;
· Objective: To analyze an organization regarding tocustomer complaints, in order to find the problem’s root cause and
solve it;
· Tools used: Histogram, Pareto chart, scatter diagram, flow chart, Ishikawa diagram, check sheet, control chart;
· Results: Problem found that the long lines both inside and outside the restaurant,resulting in too much time spent to
eat at rush hour, root cause and secondary causes found and improvement solutions suggested.
