1. Samsung unveiled the ‘on-the-go’ GALAXY Note… the first ever of its kind

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence
technologies, announced the availability and launch of the GALAXY Note in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia, following the latters stop in Dubai on November 29th as part of the World Tour
program to introduce the device to the MENA region.
The extravagant device was launched in a 3 day interactive event on Wednesday December 14th
till Friday December 16th at Mall of Arabia in Jeddah, with a large turnout of customers, tech-
savvy community members, numerous VIPs and members of the press.
The GALAXY Note is a new category of products offered by Samsung, developed through the
deep consumer understanding and insight that Samsung enjoys, along with their on-going
success at meeting all possible expectations.
At the Dubai Tour, Mr. Kyungtae Bae, President of Samsung Middle East and North Africa said
that, “Samsung is very proud to be bringing revolutionary Samsung GALAXY Note to

The GALAXY Note has a 5.3” display which is the largest screen size with smartphone
portability. It features the world’s first and the largest 5.3” HD Super AMOLED display, an
expansive high-resolution screen that provides an immersive viewing experience.
