  2. 2. Biography Alexander was born on March 3,1847. He was born in Edinburgh,Scotland. In 1876 at the age of 29 he invented the telephone. Alexander died on August 2, 1992.
  3. 3. Assertion Alexander Graham Bell was a significant scientist because he brought major contributions to the field of science.
