Dot Point 1 <ul><li>Factors influencing attitude change </li></ul><ul><li>Many students failed to apply their discussion of the theory to the campaign. – Application criteria. </li></ul><ul><li>Some discussed irrelevant sections of the curriculum statement – ABC model or functions of attitudes. </li></ul>

Dot point 2 <ul><li>Social Comparisons </li></ul><ul><li>Answers were clearer than dot point one. </li></ul><ul><li>Many students able to give clear descriptions of Social Comparisons. </li></ul><ul><li>Areas lost marks </li></ul><ul><li>failure to apply theory to the scenario. </li></ul><ul><li>Some missed discussion of the ‘self knowledge’ gained. </li></ul>

General Observation <ul><li>2 dot points poses a ‘structure’ challenge for students. </li></ul><ul><li>Essay structure not required. </li></ul><ul><li>HOWEVER, </li></ul><ul><li>Many answers lack clarity of expression, ideas are repeated. </li></ul><ul><li>2 well expressed points is often same point expressed using different words </li></ul>

Dot Point 1 <ul><li>Impact of stress on health </li></ul><ul><li>Many discussed short term affects of stress, not necessarily related to health or serious long term health issues, eg cancer. </li></ul><ul><li>Students needed to relate the concept more to the scenario. </li></ul><ul><li>Poor explanation of how stress response affects health. </li></ul>
  9. 9. Dot Point 2 <ul><li>Psychological Intervention </li></ul><ul><li>CBT most common one discussed. </li></ul><ul><li>Students often seem confused about what their two point were. </li></ul><ul><li>Many spoke about changing cognitions, but failed to expand discussion. </li></ul>
  10. 10. Dot Point 3 <ul><li>Most students were able to identify a factor that affected resilience. </li></ul><ul><li>Family and Friends was most common answer. </li></ul><ul><li>Number of students missed out on 4 marks though as they failed to expand answer. </li></ul>
  11. 11. Dot Point 4 <ul><li>Ethics covered well. </li></ul><ul><li>Selected relevant content. </li></ul><ul><li>Explained theory and related it to the scenario. </li></ul>
