Specifically I maintained each student’s individual programming needs, tutored students 1:1, conducting diagnostic evaluations, interpreting testing results, met with parents to discuss student testing results and admissions policies/procedures. I worked directly with the school psychologist to assist in meetings for individuals. Through this experience I am now able to effectively work through individual education plans (IEP) in a public school setting. Additionally, I met with parents regarding options in the Massachusetts Rehabilitation program. High School Guidance Assistant (2007). Nashoba Valley Technical High School, Westford, MA. Supervisor: Danya Sclar, Director of Guidance and Admissions. I assisted the guidance department as part of my pre-practicum for my Masters program. Duties included administering freshman check-in questionnaires and assisting with the career portfolio development for the freshman class. Through this experience I am knowledgeable in Career Cruising software as well as The Kuder assessments. High School Testing Assistant. (2005). Nashoba Valley Technical High School, Westford, MA. Supervisor: Danya Sclar, Director of Guidance and Admissions. I assisted the guidance department as part of my pre-practicum for my Masters program. Duties included administering the Woodcock Johnson III Achievement test to high School students, scoring the test, and conducting tests analysis. High School Special Education Tutor. (2002-2003) Framingham High School, Framingham, MA. Supervisor: Judith Hughes, Special Education Director Coordinated and assisted special education classes for high school students (ages 14-18), within the high school. Duties included assisting teachers, conducting lessons, supervising students and motivating students to focus on assignments. Teaching Assistant. (2002-2003) Framingham State College, Framingham, MA.
