ACCESSIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS 2 Leaside Station: • The Main and Secondary Entrances will include elevators connecting the street level to the platform level. • There will be three points of access at the Main Station Entrance, including the accessible entrance adjacent to the Paratransit stop. Laird Station: • The Main Station Entrance will have elevators connecting the street to the platform level. • The retail space at the Main Station Entrance is accessible from the exterior of the building. ACCESSIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS 3 For all ECLRT Stations: • A barrier-free route with elevators from the Main Station Entrance through to the platforms. • The paving design for all station entrances includes wayfinding strategies such as an “urban carpet” that provides visual contrasting paving materials to guide passengers towards the Main Station Entrance. Tactile guidance paths that colour contrast with the surrounding floor surface, commencing inside the main Station Entrance doors, leading to the platform level via the elevator. • Enhanced Passenger Assistant Intercoms will be provided at the station entrance lobbies, accommodating verbal and non- verbal communication, and provide a hearing induction loop to assist people who use hearing aids. • A Paratransit stop will be located within proximity and within sight lines to each station’s Main Entrance. • Station entrances will provide hands free automatic sliding doors, providing an accessible clear width when open. • Directory signs for elevators will be provided in braille and print. • Tactile walking attention indicators will be provided at the top of all stairs and along all platform edges. • Stair’s nosing will provide a high level of colour contrast with the treads. • The Designated Waiting Areas on the platforms will be identified with a colour contrasted textured flooring surface.

North west corner of Bayview Ave and Eglinton Ave Underway through Summer 2021 • 24-hour work ongoing Monday through Saturday for approximately four (4) months

LEASIDE STATION LOOK-AHEAD 6 Year What to Expect 2021 • Construction will continue to take place on a 24-hour basis Monday through Saturday for approximately four (4) months. • Periodic lane closures may be required to facilitate deliveries, dewatering and concrete works. • Architectural works, are ongoing at the Main Entrance including steel and pre-cast panel installations. This work will continue into Fall 2021. • Construction of the Secondary Entrance is taking place above street level and crews are currently construction the exterior walls. • Utility restoration works are ongoing adjacent to the Secondary Entrance site.

RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTION NORTH SIDE OF EGLINTON AVENUE EAST OF BRENTCLIFFE ROAD 14 • This retaining wall is required to hold the embankment created from the widened Eglinton Ave. • Retaining wall construction continues and is expected to be complete in late Summer 2021 • Monitoring of the slope continues and there have been no recent issues with the movement. Residents on Thursfield Crescent have full use of their backyards. • The City provided revised comments on the restoration design and approved planting trees in soil depths that are less than the by-law requirements, which means trees will be included in the restoration plan. • CTS has reviewed and incorporated the City’s comments; the final restoration plan is now with the City. CTS expects approval shortly. • CTS will share the restoration plan with Elected Officials and Thursfield residents upon completion. • CTS expects to begin the restoration works in Fall 2021.
