Intersection Paving

• CTS requires temporary changes at intersections from Credit Union to
Ionview for road paving:
– Eglinton is being widened and road must be paved before guideway
installed
– Traffic restrictions required for two weekends – one weekend for each
side of the intersection
– Credit Union/Swift & Bermondsey/Sloane require six weeks for each
side of the intersection
• Not full intersection closures.
– Eglinton remains open in both directions at all times
– Work will not take place at adjacent intersections
– Emergency services access maintained

• After paving temporary changes at intersections from Credit Union to
Ionview required for guideway construction:
– Work carried out in the middle of intersection
– No through north/south traffic for six weeks; traffic maintained on
Eglinton
– Signal timing will be set at the intersection and adjacent intersections
to keep traffic moving
• Restrictions are not full intersection closures.
– Eglinton remains open in both directions at all times
– Work will not take place at adjacent intersections
– North and south traffic can access Eglinton at all times via right turns
– Eglinton traffic can make right turns to access north and south streets
– Emergency services access maintained

Town Centre, Don Montgomery Community Centre, residential lobbies,
• Distribution of construction notices and wayfinding postcards to
businesses and residents
• Open Houses – planned for early April
• Advertising – radio, print, digital, TTC locations
• Digital – social media, Metrolinx & TTC websites
• Advanced signage – informing road users of the status of the
intersections far upstream of Eglinton and leading up to
date of works
