  9. 9. Self-sufficient greenhouses History of the project PAST We have been working on the project during 10 years and we’re progressing with the advance of technology. PRESENT In our laboratory, we optimize the performance of electrical and electronic equipment that conform zelula zero. FUTURE Objective 2014- 2015 To create zelula zero greenhouse modules with different surfaces.
  10. 10. Self-sufficient greenhouses PRESENT: LABORATORY • In this experimental laboratory, we can see how the plants grow with different type of light and artificially generated under different climates. • Ratify the energy consumption of all electrical equipment installed in the laboratory.
  11. 11. Self-sufficient greenhouses To achieve Zelula Zero • With the mix of renewables energies we will be able to make the greenhouse sel-suficient. • Building modules of different sizes and technificate self- sufficient greenhouses .
  12. 12. Self-sufficient greenhouses Solar energy We use photovoltaic panels with translucent surface. Due to the level of opacity they produce more or less energy. To change a conventional greenhouse roof for photovoltaic ones, reduces temperature inside the Greenhouse and produces energy. Translucent solar panels Photovoltaic systems turn sun's radiant energy into electrical power.
