real time. The app uses crowdsourced data from riders’ phones’ to trace the progress of a
train and predict its arrival on the next station.
FigShare claims Scientific publishing as it stands is an inefficient way to do science on a
global scale. A lot of time and money is being wasted by groups around the world duplicating
research that has already been carried out. “Unless we as scientists publish all of our data,
we will never achieve access to the sum of all scientific knowledge.”
