Speaker: Jesus Aguilar, Principal Software Development Engineer, Microsoft and Donald Scott, Solutions Engineer, Couchbase
Microsoft AKS is a managed Kubernetes service that allows you to quickly deploy and scale Kubernetes. When used with the Couchbase Autonomous Operator, your applications can store state directly into a database designed to work in Kubernetes.
During this session we’ll discuss AKS and related Azure services like ACI, ACR, and the ACI connector. We’ll then talk a bit about operators in general before presenting the Couchbase Autonomous Operator. We’ll follow this with a live demo showing the operator running on AKS.
After the talk, you can follow the instructions here to do the demo yourself: https://github.com/couchbase-partners/azure-kubernetes-couchbase
If you don’t already have an Azure account, a $200 free trial is available here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/.
