LAGUNA RIDGE PARKS History      Specific Plan completed in 2004 Included plan for funding and construction of infrastructure, including parks Parks were to be funded and built by 2 controlling partners, not City or CSD Partners started home and park construction without formal park funding agreement Economic downturn occurred, partners multiplied HORSESHOE PARK COMMUNITY OUTREACH

LAGUNA RIDGE PARKS History      Multiple partners unable to reach funding agreement, park construction stopped City and CSD became involved in park funding issue CSD created Parks Master Plan which established park design standards and budgets for each park City established fee program based on Parks Master Plan September 2011 – fee program formally instituted HORSESHOE PARK COMMUNITY OUTREACH

LAGUNA RIDGE PARKS History     Partners already paid fees for all existing homes Partners were reimbursed for park work they completed City acquired land rights for Storybook Woods, Island and Horseshoe Parks so that design could start. City continues to collect fees on new construction and will continue to design and construct parks in partnership with CSD HORSESHOE PARK COMMUNITY OUTREACH
