What should I know now? <ul><li>It is completely normal that your son/daughter (a grade 8 student) has no idea (yet) what they want to take in Grade 11 and 12 </li></ul><ul><li>A few course decisions for grade 9 can impact future options (IB choices/Post-secondary) </li></ul><ul><li>Many IB subjects have pre-requisites </li></ul><ul><li>Certain subjects (as a result of their strict pre-requisites) require some special care & attention by students/parents during the course selection process </li></ul>

IB Subject Flow (Science) <ul><li>Integrated Science 1 combines and integrates the three content areas of biology, chemistry and physics. </li></ul><ul><li>In grade 10 you will have the choice of continuing with Integrated Science 2 or specializing with a full year course in either biology, chemistry and/or physics. </li></ul>

You will have one as a grade 10 student. </li></ul>
