4. 1. Custom Themes
The ability to customise the look and
feel of Salesforce has never really
been available (apart from attempting
to get your logo under 20kb to upload
to documents!).
The ability to completely customise
the branding of your Salesforce
Lightning Org is here!
You can have up-to 300 custom
themes for various occasions such as
company milestones, though only 1
can be active at a time.
6. 2. LinkedIn Lead Generation
You now have the ability for LinkedIn Lead
Gen advertisements to create Leads inside
your Salesforce org.
Leads are automatically syned into
Salesforce and any workflows and
assignment rules fire immediately. This
gives your team all the information they
need to follow up quickly and efficiently
while the Lead is still hot.
It could save your marketing teams hours!
7. 3. New GDPR module
Salesforce have started to ensure their systems are
compliant with GDPR. With Spring ’18 comes a new
object called “Individual”. This new object gives you the
ability to track individuals customers preferences in terms
of:
– Collecting, storing, and sharing their personal data;
– Packaging customers personal data so they can take
ownership of it;
– Deleting records and personal data related to
customers.
8. 4. Lightning Report Builder
With the Winter ‘17 release
Salesforce released Lighting Report
Builder.
With Spring ‘18 various
enhancements have been made.
Lighting report builder still in beta
stage must be enabled in your
Salesforce Org.
9. 5. Lightning for Outlook Quick Add
You can now “quick add” new
records, such as Contacts, Accounts
and Opportunities using the Lightning
for Outlook sidebar.
Adding objects via the Lightning
Sidebar now applies any required
fields rules etc from Outlook.
10. 6. Mass Edit List Types
With Spring ‘18, you can now mass
edit records in a list view.
