National Contact Centre Comex 2000 is a successful, fast developing telecommunications group established in 1998, having evolved from the industry rationalisation that marked the early years of the new millennium. Our highly skilled and professional team provide a wide range of network and communications services nationally, along with back up support. Residential Installations Comex 2000 currently has an expanding workforce of 500 field and administrative staff. Approximately 250,000 residential installations and 38,000 business installations are completed each year in central and outer London alone. Comex 2000 has its own dedicated call centre located in the heart of Birmingham. This gives us tremendous flexibility and support of our own operation, by carrying out work order scheduling, precalling of customer appointments and coordinating customer queries. We currently employ over 500 field based engineers backed up by administrative and support staff and will continue to be the leading supplier of choice within our sector, where innovation and diversification will be instrumental in continued growth. We pride ourselves on delivering quality and cost effective solutions to our clients. This is the key foundation that we build our business from and it’s an ethos that is shared by all our staff from field-based personnel through to Board level. We undertake fibre optic broadband, digital tv and phone installations into individual properties, including specialist installations into multi dwelling units, high rise properties and new developments. Commercial Installations Working as part of our Network Services Department we carry out complex and non-complex commercial telephony and broadband installations, utilising disciplines from multi-pair cabling through to blown fibre technology, for all business sectors including Blue Chip companies. Network Maintenance Whilst Comex 2000 continues to have a major presence across central and outer London, through innovative thinking and client diversity we are able to offer a full range of services on a national basis. We provide all levels of support to our clients from service and repair visits through to specialist network maintenance, cabinet repair, cabling upgrades and fibre management. All our activities are supported by our national contact centre in the heart of Birmingham. On behalf of our clients we liaise with their customers to create a positive and lasting impression. Emergency Response Service We provide specialist switch, head end and emergency support. Whilst initially the centre supported only our own organisation, as we continue to expand our customer base and diversify into other sectors we are able to offer our bespoke support services to new clients. Working as part of our Network Services Department we provide full turnkey Emergency Service Restoration solutions in the event of major service risks or failures which affect our clients. Comex 2000 is the preferred Partner to Virgin Media. Our administrative staff are well trained and motivated which enables them to fit into projects which add short term or long term benefits to our clients. Also housed in the National Call Centre is our own Construction Noticing Team and Help Desk. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for helping out with this Director level escalation and completing it this morning when it wasn’t part of your scheduled work. Portfolio Manager - CONNECT, Partner Markets I just wanted to let you know how much of a help the engineer has been so far on the LGfL project for me. Due to his professional attitude and flexible nature he has on a number of installs been able to assist and make sure that they don’t fail on the day. London Grid for Learning - Services I would like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ for looking after my install for the above customer last week. This was a challenging customer and you handled them well. Thank you for being so proactive. Without your hard work, support and determination this install would have failed. Virgin Media I would just like to pass on my appreciation to the engineer. He has been brilliant. There are some very unusual sets of circumstances on these installs but none have phased him. Project Manager - London Underground Newsquest would not have gone in last night had it not been for great team work and dedication to this DRO Level 1 escalation. The job went on right into the night with the engineers having to go to the hub to replace/repair a faulty cable. Great work guys and look forward to having more installs with you.
