  9. 9. SITUATION IN SPAIN • The situation in Spain in the last years has been hard and difficult. • Unemployment is a big problem. Unemployment rate is one of the highest in Europe. • There have been cuts in Education and Health. • Young qualified people have to emigrate to other countries to get a job.
