Example Of Pursue My Personal Statement
My talent would be summed up in one word, dedication. I have always been dedicated to anything I have started. The most important thing that
taught me dedication was sports. Many people joined sports because it was fun to interact with others, I stood on the sidelines and watched my
brother on that field and I saw that look in my father's eyes that I had never seen when he came to any of my art shows, he was proud. Yes, my
father was proud of me but that look at my brother's game was different. That look is what I strived for for the next 10 years after that. I worked and
still work everyday 10x harder then anyone I know. In softball I took an extra ground ball every time, another pop fly, another throw down. In football
I ran another lap, I pushed a little harder, I threw a little farther....show more content...
My father and my brother had a special bond and had that since the first day my brother came into my life. Ever since that day my hard work
turned into dedication and I have brought that to the field and I brought that everyday to my classrooms. I work hard to understand every problem
I am given, or even every project I am assigned. Dedication is different to anyone, some people dedicate their time to school work, some to sports,
others to jobs, but me? I put my dedication towards everything I do including sports, my job, and in school but all for a different reason. Everyone
works hard just to make sure they feel better at the end of the day, or to know that they are making their future better, I put my dedication towards
seeing that look again, just to see someone proud of me; that is my motivation when it comes to studying for a test, walking on the field looking for
more reps, and walking into my store and becoming the hardest

My goal is to go college for like 4yrs and get a degree for "Business" so I can learn how to be good in business and be able to know who to take care of
customer. I wanna be a successful person, that's the reason why I want to go college, so I could be able to know how to handle money also. But first, I
have to first go community college so I can have experince before I go to the university and build some of my skill at school that I'm lacking at. I have
a lot goals, and how I'm going to achieve them, I'll start by hanging with good friends that do righteous things, have the same goals like me, and they

I was born in 1981, the starting period of China's economy reform designed and implemented under the leadership of Mr. De Xiaoping. I have
witnessed the dramatic changes in the continuous infrastructure construction, observable improvement of living standards, greater enrichment of
social life, gradual deregulation of policies and strong growth of local economy. All the positive sides make everybody fond of the market economy,
especially my parents, both of who are managers of property development companies. My parents have great influence on me, so when I was young, I
start to learn how to keep abreast of the modern society by learning the new knowledge and skills.
The world is already heading toward the new economy, although there are still some turmoil in certain fields and period. The explosive information
technology changed the world in such quick and significant manners that many economists can't explain well. Meanwhile, China is joining WTO, the
economy at this moment is growing at 8% annually, by further eliminating non–tariff barriers and reduce tariff rates, China's market will experience
huge structural changes and countless opportunities will emerge to make China the hottest spot in the world economy. As a Chinese student, I am

I see myself progressing in my field as well as in my education. I find my education challenging and motivating. I can see many challenges ahead
and therefore I am willing to invest my time learning all the skills and knowledge of my field towards professional advancement. I hoped to be
offered in a management role in 5 years, looking to move on to greater things. I'm prepared to learned new things and contribute to the overall success

I will remain a student regardless if it's only part–time to continue my classes. As of right now I am seeking employment with a company that has
growth potential, good benefits, and an excellent retirement plan. It would be terrific to find a company that will help me to enhance my business
skills while I'm attending DeVry University obtaining my Bachelor's degree.
At this point in my life, I have an obligation to my family to fulfill my duties by paying the bills with our limited income. These responsibility has
taught me a lot about work discipline and family values. I know with the support around me I can overcome any obstacle with the determination for
success and using helpful resources. Even though my low income status will cause me to take a sufficient paying job to supplement my family needs. I
just want to manage my time efficiently with my classes and overcome any bounds or obstacles which might await for me in my path to be successful
in the future which lies ahead for me. I pray my strength in the Lord for guidance and wisdom which will foresee me to have the will and strength to
keep thriving each and every day to pursue my dreams.
Present State – I am unemployed at the present time seeking employment and I have a lot of time on my hands. The time management is not a issue to

learned that I am intelligent, determined, and passionate. Sophomore year I developed a particular interest in the dynamics of social media and how

From a very young age my parents instilled in me a deep appreciation for literature. Horacio Quiroga, Richard Bach, Louisa M. Alcott, and Antoine de
Saint–ExupГ©ri were some of the writers that played a fundamental role in my development as a reader and writer. Nonetheless, the pursuit of my
intellectual goals has never been as straightforward as I envisioned growing up. Although I completed my junior and senior years of high school in the
United States, I returned to my native Dominican Republic upon graduation, where I began a licenciatura en letras at the Universidad AutГіnoma de
Santo Domingo (UASD). Spring 2008 was my first semester and, unbeknownst to me, it would also be my last. During my brief time at UASD, I
became acutely aware of the tensions between political parties during times of campaign and experienced what would become one of the worst protests

Personal Statement Diverse and inclusive learning environments are important to me because I am an immigrant. I arrived from Mexico when I was
nineteen years old and since I put a foot into this country, I learned that I was not welcome. Writing about me it's a little hard. I have so many
memories that I would like to share but I especially want to tell you one story that might change the way you see immigrants like me. I have been
living in the United States since 2006. I'm a victim of human trafficking that survived and overcame many barriers. Moreover, the fact that I suffered
so much during so many years made me stronger and also helped me to feel that the world should know that human trafficking is the modern form of
slavery. The reason that I want to be a journalist and communicator is because I want to be the voice of the people that cannot speak. Hopefully, one
day I will be able to help others with the power of information. I want to work for the Latina community because the lack of education makes them
victims of several crimes. I'm a single mother too that wants to give to her son the opportunity to achieve all his dreams without all the...show more

Diversity in a learning environment helps students to be more respectful of others' cultures. This also encourages students to have an open mind set
to accept the differences of others by helping them to become better human beings. Today I believe that education is a way to demonstrate those who
are against immigrants that we are capable enough to follow our dreams and also help to inspire other immigrants to believe in themselves. We need
to shape another face for immigrants because we are more than just a blue collar force. Education also helps minorities to lower their rates of violence
by encouraging them to raise their voices in order to defend

My mind holds tight to the memories of my childhood: translating medical letter for my parents, moving constantly from place to place, and seeing my

Personal Statement: #3 In life everyone has walked through easy and hard challenges to become the man or woman that they're today. Everyone has
also figured out what talents that they're good at. They even practice on it to get better and make a living out of it. Most people would lose focus on
their goal and fail to achieve it. For my entire life, I have been playing baseball and trying to make a living out of it so, I could make a change for my
reservation. I've also face many challenges, decisions, and tasks to get where I want to be but, I still have a long way to go. Since I was younger many
friends and family members believed that I could go somewhere with the talent I have for baseball. They want me to take advantage of it and be a

My father was raised in a predominantly Dominican neighborhood in New York City. Along with other immigrant families, he grew up in the

different languages. While I was unable to connect with students from the Dominican Republic, by befriending students who had come from all over

About a year ago I was the type of person who didn't care about school, and never thought it was important. What I didn't know was that your

Personal Statement Growing up in East Los Angeles, a low–income Latino community, it seemed like there was no paved road to a career; the only
way to make a living was through physical labor. In a community where every adult male owns a pair of work boots, I grew up hearing my father and
neighbors start up their trucks at dawn and not be heard again until they returned at dark, their bodies covered with dirt and dust. In my community,
education is not the priority for many; school is a place to keep your kids out of trouble and high school is not a stepping–stone to college, but rather the
end of your education. Thankfully, my parents, who only went as far as middle school in Mexico, have taught my brothers and me that an education
will lead to a better life. It is my family who encourages me to pursue my dream of attending college. Although my parents can't offer homework help

This opened my eyes to the fact that I was just as smart, even smarter, than those around me with a "better education". I now feel that being in a

are opened up to a completely new world that we may have never known existed. Those different than us can also teach us new things whether it is
in life or in class work. I have learned that those of a different race are not that different than those in my own. The differences are only cultural. I
now feel that I must go to diverse college and no longer see the sense in a college that has a large majority of just one race. Helping others is
something else that I have also looked high upon. This is why for my service learning hours I chose to help young children with their schoolwork

Dedication And Hard Work Personal Statement

  • 1. Example Of Pursue My Personal Statement My talent would be summed up in one word, dedication. I have always been dedicated to anything I have started. The most important thing that taught me dedication was sports. Many people joined sports because it was fun to interact with others, I stood on the sidelines and watched my brother on that field and I saw that look in my father's eyes that I had never seen when he came to any of my art shows, he was proud. Yes, my father was proud of me but that look at my brother's game was different. That look is what I strived for for the next 10 years after that. I worked and still work everyday 10x harder then anyone I know. In softball I took an extra ground ball every time, another pop fly, another throw down. In football I ran another lap, I pushed a little harder, I threw a little farther....show more content... My father and my brother had a special bond and had that since the first day my brother came into my life. Ever since that day my hard work turned into dedication and I have brought that to the field and I brought that everyday to my classrooms. I work hard to understand every problem I am given, or even every project I am assigned. Dedication is different to anyone, some people dedicate their time to school work, some to sports, others to jobs, but me? I put my dedication towards everything I do including sports, my job, and in school but all for a different reason. Everyone works hard just to make sure they feel better at the end of the day, or to know that they are making their future better, I put my dedication towards seeing that look again, just to see someone proud of me; that is my motivation when it comes to studying for a test, walking on the field looking for more reps, and walking into my store and becoming the hardest Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I was born in 1981, the starting period of China's economy reform designed and implemented under the leadership of Mr. De Xiaoping. I have witnessed the dramatic changes in the continuous infrastructure construction, observable improvement of living standards, greater enrichment of social life, gradual deregulation of policies and strong growth of local economy. All the positive sides make everybody fond of the market economy, especially my parents, both of who are managers of property development companies. My parents have great influence on me, so when I was young, I start to learn how to keep abreast of the modern society by learning the new knowledge and skills. The world is already heading toward the new economy, although there are still some turmoil in certain fields and period. The explosive information technology changed the world in such quick and significant manners that many economists can't explain well. Meanwhile, China is joining WTO, the economy at this moment is growing at 8% annually, by further eliminating non–tariff barriers and reduce tariff rates, China's market will experience huge structural changes and countless opportunities will emerge to make China the hottest spot in the world economy. I can see many challenges ahead and therefore I am willing to invest my time learning all the skills and knowledge of my field towards professional advancement. I hoped to be offered in a management role in 5 years, looking to move on to greater things. I'm prepared to learned new things and contribute to the overall success of the organization in a number of ways. As of right now I am seeking employment with a company that has growth potential, good benefits, and an excellent retirement plan. It would be terrific to find a company that will help me to enhance my business skills while I'm attending DeVry University obtaining my Bachelor's degree. At this point in my life, I have an obligation to my family to fulfill my duties by paying the bills with our limited income. These responsibility has taught me a lot about work discipline and family values. I know with the support around me I can overcome any obstacle with the determination for success and using helpful resources. Even though my low income status will cause me to take a sufficient paying job to supplement my family needs. I just want to manage my time efficiently with my classes and overcome any bounds or obstacles which might await for me in my path to be successful in the future which lies ahead for me. I pray my strength in the Lord for guidance and wisdom which will foresee me to have the will and strength to keep thriving each and every day to pursue my dreams. • 6. Example Of Personal Statement From a very young age my parents instilled in me a deep appreciation for literature. Horacio Quiroga, Richard Bach, Louisa M. Alcott, and Antoine de Saint–ExupГ©ri were some of the writers that played a fundamental role in my development as a reader and writer. Nonetheless, the pursuit of my intellectual goals has never been as straightforward as I envisioned growing up. Although I completed my junior and senior years of high school in the United States, I returned to my native Dominican Republic upon graduation, where I began a licenciatura en letras at the Universidad AutГіnoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). Spring 2008 was my first semester and, unbeknownst to me, it would also be my last. During my brief time at UASD, I became acutely aware of the tensions between political parties during times of campaign and experienced what would become one of the worst protests in the history of the university. • 7. Example Of Personal Statement Essay Anayeli Villalobos Personal Statement Diverse and inclusive learning environments are important to me because I am an immigrant. I arrived from Mexico when I was nineteen years old and since I put a foot into this country, I learned that I was not welcome. Writing about me it's a little hard. I have so many memories that I would like to share but I especially want to tell you one story that might change the way you see immigrants like me. I have been living in the United States since 2006. I'm a victim of human trafficking that survived and overcame many barriers. Moreover, the fact that I suffered so much during so many years made me stronger and also helped me to feel that the world should know that human trafficking is the modern form of slavery. The reason that I want to be a journalist and communicator is because I want to be the voice of the people that cannot speak. Hopefully, one day I will be able to help others with the power of information. I want to work for the Latina community because the lack of education makes them victims of several crimes. Today I believe that education is a way to demonstrate those who are against immigrants that we are capable enough to follow our dreams and also help to inspire other immigrants to believe in themselves. We need to shape another face for immigrants because we are more than just a blue collar force. Education also helps minorities to lower their rates of violence by encouraging them to raise their voices in order to defend Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Money is the thing that decides whether a person is successful or not. Money is power, and accountants are those who are responsible for determining an organisations financial stability and overall wealth, and it is them who lay the foundation upon which minor and major decisions for an organisation can be made. I have not chosen this career path from my avarice, I simply wish to be one of these people. Someone who is essential to any economy, in any business, anywhere. Psychology has given me an insight into how people behave, both as individuals and as communities. This is applicable to the world of finance as there will be some predictability as to what the outcomes will be in some economic matters. Biology has given me a practical way of thinking, as well as the ability to apply common knowledge in experimental work. Taking GCSE French has allowed me to grasp the basics of the language. Although I am not able to have a confident conversation in French, I do have a basic understanding. This may prove to be valuable as it is helpful to have an understanding of various languages in order to close communication gaps at work or with clients. Another of my GCSEs was business studies. This gave me a better understanding of the world of finance and economics. I have had a brief work experience placement at Pepsico for two weeks in September 2013. During this period I did various tasks such as digital filing and creating presentations. This was helpful to observe how businesses are run from the inside and the different roles that are involved. We emigrated Africa when I was seven for various reasons, two of them being political instability and the lack of an effective education system. I am the second oldest of five siblings, meaning I am a first generation college student. With neither of my parents going beyond a high school education, they were unable to fully support my siblings or I financially or in terms of education. Because of that, they put it upon themselves to teach us the importance of education, independence and hard work from a young age. Throughout high school, I worked 2 jobs in order to support myself, and still managed to be in the top half of my class. Through hard work, I ended up getting a full ride to UNL. At the end of senior year I even ended up landing an internship with the UNL Chemistry department for a summer, which I continued working on throughout freshmen year of college. • 10. Example Of Personal Statement My mind holds tight to the memories of my childhood: translating medical letter for my parents, moving constantly from place to place, and seeing my parents lay forward tremendous efforts as immigrants. Being born to Mexican immigrant parents bestowed me with demanding responsibilities from a young age. Due my parents language barriers, growing up, I acted as an interpreter and translator, translating government letters, teacher conferences, and helping my younger brother with his English homework. I was a student, cousin–sitter, and full time eldest daughter. Although we never lacked shelter, we learned to adapt without the resources which seem essential: washing machines, internet, gas stoves, and warm water to shower. Yet, these were the challenges that shaped my views and prompted to repay my parents through my academic success. Thankfully, I received much support from schools and academics program such as Chula Vista Promise Neighborhood, which really pushed me into community involvement. Everyone has also figured out what talents that they're good at. They even practice on it to get better and make a living out of it. Most people would lose focus on their goal and fail to achieve it. For my entire life, I have been playing baseball and trying to make a living out of it so, I could make a change for my reservation. Along with other immigrant families, he grew up in the basements of tenement buildings. When he left home at 17, set out to quickly assimilate into what he viewed as mainstream America. This included raising me as an American first. As a result, I lacked a connection to my culture. I knew nothing about Dominican culture, food, or music. I yearned to learn more about my cultural identity. Fortunately, I attended one of Seattle's most diverse public high schools. Students there spoke more than 15 different languages. While I was unable to connect with students from the Dominican Republic, by befriending students who had come from all over the world, I learned a great deal about the world and other people's lives. What I didn't know was that your education and college could decide your future. I had always struggled with learning because of my ADHD. I could never pay attention, and to this day I still have attention issues. But I thought maybe I could change that so that I could be better and more educated, maybe I could actually feel smart. • 14. Personal Statement Growing up in East Los Angeles, a low–income Latino community, it seemed like there was no paved road to a career; the only way to make a living was through physical labor. In a community where every adult male owns a pair of work boots, I grew up hearing my father and neighbors start up their trucks at dawn and not be heard again until they returned at dark, their bodies covered with dirt and dust. In my community, education is not the priority for many; school is a place to keep your kids out of trouble and high school is not a stepping–stone to college, but rather the end of your education. Thankfully, my parents, who only went as far as middle school in Mexico, have taught my brothers and me that an education will lead to a better life. It is my family who encourages me to pursue my dream of attending college. I feel as though I am a very determined, hard–working, versatile person who is ready for college and the world. Various factors have caused me feel this way. I now feel that being in a diverse environment is very important to becoming a complete person. By being around people that are different, instead of those just like us, we are opened up to a completely new world that we may have never known existed. Those different than us can also teach us new things whether it is in life or in class work. I have learned that those of a different race are not that different than those in my own. The differences are only cultural. I now feel that I must go to diverse college and no longer see the sense in a college that has a large majority of just one race. Helping others is something else that I have also looked high upon. This is why for my service learning hours I chose to help young children with their schoolwork at the Don Nash Community Center. This proved to be a learning experience in itself. It required much patience and perseverance. Even though it was not easy, it was very enjoyable to see a child advance in something that you helped them in. It was very enjoyable to see those children receive good grades on their report cards. In reflection on what has inspired me to attend college and obtain my degree, I have to begin by stating that I am a 47 year old single mom of 5 children. Two who are grown and 3 still in my care.
