Editor's Notes

  • ----- Meeting Notes (2/25/14 10:02) -----
Started 2009 multiple professionals recognize issues & opportunities
Air Quality = non-attainment for ozone & particulate matter
Stormwater = clean water & green infrastructure
Energy = utilities looking to reduce demand
  • The City of Trees Challenge was launched on Arbor Day 2020 as a vision from Boise City Council President Elaine Clegg.

Elaine is challenging citizens in Boise to plant more trees in our City of Trees to help improve the environment and give us hope for a better future.

Through this partnership with local citizens, Treasure Valley Canopy Network, The Nature Conservancy in Idaho and City of Boise, we are already having a positive impact in Boise and momentum is starting to grow as the Challenge launches outside of Boise in Summer / Fall 2021.
