  2. 2. Background  This is a follow up to the DCM presentation from June 12  Staff is seeking Council direction/feedback on the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC)  Staff has four (4) considerations of Council

  4. 4. Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) Parks Subcommittee Transportation Subcommittee Facilities Subcommittee
  5. 5. Chair & Co-Chair Subcommittee Chair Subcommittee Chair Subcommittee Chair
  6. 6. 2. Set the Committee Charge
  7. 7. Committee Charge  “To assess the City of College Station’s current and future transportation, parks, and facility needs in order to present a prioritized list of projects to the College Station City Council to be considered on a proposed 2015 Bond Election”
  8. 8. 3. Set the size of the Committee
  9. 9. Committee Size  Committee of no more than 23 people  Each Councilmember gets three appointments (1 appointment per subcommittee) - 21  The Committee Chair and Co-Chair would be appointed separately by the entire Council - 2  Chair and co-chair would select the subcommittee chairs
