Editor's Notes

  1. Introduce how the project linked to existing community engagement and planning examplesHighlight how this helped to show what issues are at the forefront of most community members minds both for us and community representatives (particularly environmentally motivated ones).Introduce the exercise as a deliberate 1st step that is completely openDon’t move to the next slide until lots of ideas are on the table.

  9. Highlight that due to the remit of PL and CSE’s specialism the project is focussing on the top RHS of the planning/Low carbon axes. However didn’t want to undermine/ignore the activities that don’t hit the spot – hence the community engagement pages
  10. This is just an example of a previous result. It is interesting that most groups come up with very similar issues
  11. This section is to introduce the main areas of the websiteMost of the ideas have been touched on before but highlight the topics coveredSuggest it is a soft launch but it does have lots of content
  12. As is shown by the axes there are several community issues that often have planning and low carbon implications. These have been explored in more detail on the website providing information to groups about planning and low carbon and where to go next.
