  11. He was the CFO of a big company
  12. He drove a fantastic car
  13. Occasionally drank expensive wines
  14. And he wore very fancy shoes
  15. However...
  16. All was not well
  17. Tom often had to work very late through the night.
  18. He longed dearly to see more of his: &
  19. But Tom just didn’t have the time
  20. Sometimes Tom felt that his job was like...
  21. A Prison
  22. But he could never leave his job...
  23. He was sure he needed the money, the cars, the shoes and the fancy wines
  24. He was sure he needed the money, the cars, the shoes and the fancy wines
  25. He was sure he needed the money, the cars, the shoes and the fancy wines

  28. And what was more... The world sounded like a scary place...

  36. Tom surely couldn’t leave his job, even if he wanted to...
  37. Chapter Two Trying to predict the future is like trying to drive down a country road at night with no lights while looking out the back window - Peter Drucker
  38. Then quite suddenly, and much to Tom’s shock & horror, his company went...
  39. And just like that, Tom was out of a job.
  40. Things did not look good for Tom. What’s next...
  41. At first he was very, very sad indeed...
  42. But as time went on he noticed...
  43. He had more time with his &
  44. And he rarely felt like
  45. THIS in the mornings!
  46. But he still needed...
  47. To make a living somehow.
  48. But HOW?
  49. The Papers still told him...
  50. The Radio still told him... Bailouts
  51. And the TV still told him...
  52. Chapter Three "If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door." Milton Berle
  53. Tom was determined to ignore all of these negative voices
  54. He started to think about how he could
  55. Create his own job!
  56. He pondered about the things he loved…
  57. He loved PEOPLE...
  58. His City
  59. And he loved to walk!
  60. Tom had an... Idea.
  61. The next morning he jumped out of bed…
  62. At the crack of dawn, to put his plan into action…
  63. Just one week later he was up and running!

  66. After a couple of tough months things were in full flow…
  67. Tom gave many visitors a great walking tour of his great city.

  72. Chief Family officer
  73. And from then on…
  74. … even without his old Fancy shoes
  75. Tom and his family lived happily ever after.
