2010 Coordination Workshop – approximately 105 participants
Each presenter was asked by CASA to discuss –Key Developments in their organization and anyImplications for stakeholders Leaving time to answer any questions that may arise from the audience
After every presentation, each table of participants discussed and provided their answers to 2 questions:What are the key substantive issues that require stakeholder engagement?What advice would you offer the sponsoring agency to make their plans for stakeholder engagement more effective?
After compiling all of the notes, the CASA secretariat was able to group these comments into these 3 broad categories (Process, Consultation and Communication) and extrapolate the following simple but fundamental points.
Building on feedback received from the 2010 workshop, the sessions on Day 2 were designed to be interactive and provide an opportunity for participants to:Learn about the Managing Collaborative Processes guide Network and Deliberate over shared difficulties
Blue and green papers posted on the back wall are the participants feedback to the presentations.Flip charts are the notes taken from each table of the World Café.
Topics for deliberation were brainstormed and selected by the workshop participants.
Moving forward, the Communications Committee is meeting on October 2nd , in part to discuss lessons learned and reporting requirements.
Interviews with various workshop participants discuss why a collaborative process is essential to their work. (To be shown is time allows.)
