  5. 5. The last PageRank update was February 2013. Nobody knows when the next one will occur.
  6. 6. Google search results are different for different people. Results depend now on your device, your location, your browser...
  7. 7. So even if you do have great keyword optimisation, how are you going to test it?
  8. 8. If you're posting to Facebook thinking it is amazing for your rank, think again. Google+ indexes and crawls sites instantly. Twitter & Facebook hide link data from Google.
  9. 9. All of these are great reasons for you to have excellent content, that is easy to use on every device, and every browser.
  10. 10. This means that if you only optimise mobile for location, you're losing heaps of traffic. Make every single item useable on a small screen.
  11. 11. Back to PageRank... so is it a useful metric?
  12. 12. No. Focus on your conversion goals instead.
  13. 13. You can have the best PageRank in the world, but if your website doesn't convert visitors, it's not functioning properly.
