OpenStack Cisco’s unified and flexible approach to OpenStack helps enable rapid delivery of cloud infrastructure and applications with the right quality of service. With Cisco UCS Solution Accelerator Packs and the Cisco UCS installer, IT departments can quickly deploy OpenStack solutions on integrated infrastructures enabled by Cisco. Cisco also offers numerous professional services for OpenStack initiatives. For example, Cisco Assessment and Validation Services help organizations pilot OpenStack installations in an accelerated timeframe, and Cisco Design and Deployment Services are tailored to customer-specific requirements with optional predefined enhancements.
SaaS Enablement SaaS deployments require the underlying infrastructure to deliver a comprehensive set of capabilities, including creation, allocation, and management of scalable resource pools that can be securely separated, and activation and on-boarding of the overlay application to be served in each pool. Cisco works with partners to deliver SaaS acceleration solutions, such as the Cisco UCS with NetApp Storage for SAP HANA and Cisco UCS with EMC Storage for SAP HANA solutions.
Hybrid Cloud Enablement Cisco UCS Director can deploy and manage virtual machines that reside on both on-premises and remote infrastructure. As a result, Cisco’s integrated solutions that use Cisco UCS Director provide baseline hybrid capabilities by default. In addition, Cisco Intercloud Fabric enables establishment of secure connectivity and coherent sharing of security policies between private and public cloud environments. Integration of Cisco Intercloud Fabric with Cisco UCS Director provides an easy-tomanage, open, and flexible environment in which security, QoS, and access control policies that were previously enforced in the data center are also enforced in public clouds. As capacity is added, there is no distinction between internal and external cloud resources.

Cisco secure enclave designs enable a set of simplified yet highly secure offerings for integrated infrastructures based on Cisco UCS.
