  3. 3. Motivations Although the content of our current course is good, I did not believe we were empowering participants with skills. The aim is not to teach the concept of the circular economy, but rather to explore and provide avenues for implementation of circular functions applicable to companies.
  4. 4. Subject-Matter Experts + To achieve a skills-based course required consensus on the curriculum and subject-matter experts willing to volunteer their time.
  5. 5. Compete or Collaborate? The circular economy asks all of us to collaborate, but we also need a healthy balance of competition. A secondary aim of this project is to bring together circular economy practitioners, industry, government agencies and NGOs around a common goal. What should a skills-based circular economy foundation course deliver?
