imagined putting motors on them.
They got their mechanical education by watching
Arthur’s father and brothers working at the railroads.
Their inspiration probably came from a man named
Edward Pennington who made the world’s first
motorcycle. They saw him on his motorcycle when he
went down Grand Avenue in Milwaukee

draftsman named Emil Krueger, who started it. He

Arthur went around the country to get other motorcycle
dealers to sell the Harley Davidson motorcycle.
