1. 1. Geometry in Rosholt Sarah, Seth, Adi, Kaydence
2. 2. perpendicular line segments Two line segments that intersect at right angles.
3. 3. line segment A part of a line between and including two points called endpoints of the segment.
4. 4. line A 1-dimensional straight path that extends forever in opposite directions.
5. 5. ray A part of a line starting at the endpoint and continuing forever in one direction.
6. 6. right angle An angle that is 90 degrees.
7. 7. Vertex The point at which the rays of an angle meet
8. 8. Intersecting lines Two lines that cross one another but do not for a 90 degree angle.
9. 9. convex A polygon in which all vertices appear to be pushed outward
10. 10. Concave A polygon in which at least one vertex appear to be pushed inward
11. 11. Quadrangle A four sided polygon.
12. 12. Parallel lines Lines in a plane that are the same distance apart and never meet.
13. 13. Rectangle A parallelogram with all right angles.
14. 14. Rhombus A parallelogram with all sides the same length.
15. 15. Trapezoid A quadrilateral that has one pair of parallel sides.
16. 16. Parallelogram A quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel lines.
17. 17. parallel rays Two rays that are the same distance apart and never meet.
18. 18. Radius A line segment from the center of a circle to any point on the circle.
19. 19. Diameter A line segment that passes through the center of a circle and has endpoints on the circle.
20. 20. Circumference The distance around a circle.
