For many would be entrepreneurs starting their own business is the realisation of a long cherished dream.

Small businesses provide an outlet for the creative talents of the people who found them and often employment for others as well.

Sadly, the majority of start-up businesses will fail within the first 5 years and yet it doesn’t have to be that way.

I wrote this SlideShare based around my own personal experiences of starting out at the age of 50 building a successful consultancy practice through trial and error.

If I can succeed, then so can you!

Whilst there is no secret recipe for success, you can definitely improve your chances by following the ten tips in this SlideShare.

Whatever your business concept, where there is a will, you will find a way.
