19. Kevin Massing is the League of Valor’s information
technology specialist, keeping the heroes connected with the
latest tech advances. Together, they safeguard all humanity,
battling a rogues gallery that includes alien overlords, mad
scientists and super villains.
The League of Valor is the preeminent superhero team in the world,
dedicated to protecting mankind from any and all threats. The roster
includes valiant team leader Leander; armored titan Siddharasa; sword-
wielding warrior Katsuko; the savage and feral Badgrr; ace adventurer
Airfox; and the being of living rock known as Lith.

20. From Kevin Massing’s Tech Files:
For the League of Valor, the Toughpad FZ-E1 helps get the job done no
matter where their missions take them. It even helped save the world!
Rugged Durability: The Toughpad FZ-E1 goes beyond
MIL-STD-810G specifications to assure in-field reliability. Built
to handle drops of up to 10 feet to concrete, the Toughpad
FZ-E1 is fully sealed and submersible in 5 feet of water for up
to 30 minutes, and has a -4°F to 140°F operating temperature
range. The Toughpad FZ-E1 is also tested for resistance to
impact, shock, vibration, altitude, and extreme humidity.
Industry-Leading Battery Life: Few heroes could afford to
put their missions on hold to charge their devices. The Toughpad
FZ-E1 features a 6200mAh battery providing up to 14 hours of
continuous use, based on Panasonic test conditions. It’s designed
to charge to 50% in just one hour, and Hot Swap functionality
allows a depleted battery to be swapped out for a fresh one without
powering down the device, providing for virtually unlimited use.

21. Voice Connectivity: The Toughpad FZ-E1 is the
first device in the Toughpad line to offer optional voice
connectivity. To ensure clear voice communication above
engine or construction noise, the device is equipped with
intelligent, noise-cancelling and dual front speakers that
reach an astounding maximum volume of 100 decibels.
Enterprise-Grade Display: Toughpad FZ-E1 features
a sunlight-readable, anti-reflective, HD capacitive multi-
touchscreen that works even with heavy gloves. A rain-sensing
feature allows for single-touch use even in pouring rain.
Windows Embedded 8.1 Handheld: The Toughpad FZ-E1 is
powered by Windows Embedded 8.1 Handheld, an intuitive platform
featuring a rich, multi-touch user interface and robust security that
improves workforce productivity without compromise. It makes
communication, collaboration and data collection easy and allows
the device to be managed seamlessly as part of the Windows
environment the League of Valor already relies on.

22. From Kevin Massing’s Tech Files:
Security Camera: When the League of Valor is away on a mission across the
globe or across the galaxy, they like to keep tabs on things back here at the Hall
of Valor. Panasonic’s high-performance network cameras capture and deliver
outstanding HD surveillance video to keep our headquarters secure. The next-
generation processors offer dynamic imaging, as well as image distortion and
color correction technologies. The cameras produce high definition resolution
while maintaining use of bandwidth, making them ideal for surveillance.
Desktop Telephone: Sure, sometimes
superheroes communicate via telepathy.
For other times, we have Panasonic’s SIP
phones. They’re easy to deploy and operate,
providing crisp, precise HD voice quality for
smooth, effortless conversations. SIP phones
offer advanced capabilities, quick and simple
expandability, and are designed to help
heroes (and everyone else) communicate
and collaborate easily and productively.

23. Displays: Keeping the entire world safe means
the League of Valor has to monitor locations
across the globe. Panasonic’s professional
displays feature high image quality, providing
total situational awareness for the League. The
displays have durable designs, and can be used
around the clock reliably, with no worries about
the technology failing on the job.
Toughbook 31: When heroes need to stay plugged in
on the go, the Toughbook 31 offers high performance,
along with the world’s most rugged design. It’s used on
the battlefield, by law enforcement, and others who need
a reliable tool that will go the distance anytime, anywhere.
The Toughbook 31 offers desktop-class performance; up
to 14.5 hours of battery life; a sunlight-readable, anti-
reflective and anti-glare touchscreen; reliable wireless
connectivity; and a fully-rugged design with a magnesium
alloy case. What more could a superhero want?
