Content SEO
From the SEO audit report given, suggest ways to perform Content SEO.
1. Problem: Upgrad webpage does not have an H1 heading which is very important for any site. It
helps indicate the important topics of your page to search engines as it helps in defining the topic of
your page to search engines. If headings are not added it will affect the SEO score of the website
and it will affect the site ranking on SERPs for its chosen keywords.
Solution:Add one H1 heading on each webpage to help the search engine better understand the
topic on the page.

2. Problem: Images are not optimized as Upgrad is not using alt text, Not all images are not
properly sized and display dimensions that match the natural aspect ratio. It is important to optimize
images as alt text makes it easier for crawlers to understand what images are about. And images
need to be properly sized and match the natural aspect ratio so it will not hinder user experience.
Images also affect site speed if not optimized.
Solution: Add alt text for each image with relevant keywords. And properly chose image size and
aspect ratio to enhance user experience.

Optimization suggestion 1:
Problem: The website doesn't have a robots.txt file. It is important to have robots.txt as it tells the
crawler which page needed to be ranked and which does not. Robots.txt also affects the load speed
of the website.
Solution:
- Install and create a robots.txt file for the website to lower the load time on the server as it helps
crawlers to index the important pages of the website and avoid unimportant and duplicate pages.
Once the file is created, upload the file to the top-level directory of the web server.
- Ensure the permissions are set on the file so that it is readable to the search engines.

Optimization suggestion 2:
Problem: The website load time is around 6.55 sec, which is over the average loading speed which
is 5 sec. The higher load time leads to a higher bounce rate which ruins your SEO efforts.
Solution:
- JavaScript files are not minified so minified it to lower website load time.
- The website HTML size is 182 kb which is way over the average size of 33 kb so minified it.
- The upGrad page uses more than 20 HTTP requests which slows down page loading. Reduce
HTTP requests on the page.

Optimization suggestion 3:
Problem: This webpage is using inline CSS styles. Adding CSS rules to each HTML element takes

and download time of your page can be affected by styling multiple elements.
Solution: Do not use Inline CSS styles as it make difficult to manage your page.
Optimization suggestion 4:
Problem: This website has 2 email addresses in its page code which led to security issue as spam
harvesters can steal these information from your site.
