I designed a range of promotional bookmarks for the library featuring eye-catching images linked to messages about different library services. Each image highlights a service, such as a frog design reminding users not to get bogged down finding information on their own. The bookmarks have been very successful, with users and staff complimenting the design. They are regularly distributed to library patrons to inform them of available services and have helped promote new offerings by adapting the design for additional services.

I designedawhole range of bookmarkstopromote variousaspectsof the library service. I have used eye -catching
images and linked each image to the message, for example, you can see the tag-line of the bookmark below is
‘Memory like a goldfish?’ which leads on to book renewal. Each picture has a similar link so the frog is ‘don't get
boggeddownfindinginformationonyourown’.These have workedextremelywell.Usersandstaff love then and I
have receivedmany compliments on their design. We regularly hand them out to users when they ask about our
services and they have helped us inform users of the different services available. I have also added to the
collection, adapting the design to fit new services.
