Consumerism- “a social and economic order that is based on the Systematic creation and fostering of a desire to purchase goods or services in ever greater amounts” -dictionary Abundance- “the property of a more than adequate quantity or supply; "an age of abundance" -dictionary
  2. 2. Summary of 1920’s -short recession because of end of war -economy boomed, industrialization produced mass products -ended with stock market crashing (Great Depression) -irrational spending and overproduction
  3. 3. Mass Marketing • Industrialization made mass producing products efficient, quicker, and more profitable • Helps consumerism (more products available for consumers to buy) Mass producing Cars (1920’s)
